QUADRIGA - The new group of artists

In May 2008, the artists Bernd Lehmann, Alfred Gockel and Alexander Gockel came together in Ludinghausen, North Rhine Westphalia. All of them shared the interest in a creative art alliance. Rapidly the idea of a concerted portfolio with exclusive etchings came up. At this moment the new group of artists called QUADRIGA was born.

QUADRIGA wants to reanimate and cultivate classical and graphical etchings techniques and it`s vision is the renaissance of classical arts and crafts. Non-accidental the name QUADRIGA refers to the symbolic figure of an classical quadriga, with which the artists break in and dash amoung deadlocked structures and theoretical blockades. Once ignited this magnificence, driven by thoroughbred creatives, is hardly stoppable.
